Larry Savage founded Advanced Roofing Inc. in 1994, starting out of his home with one truck and a dream—to build a successful business in an industry he truly loved.

Roofing wasn’t just a career for Larry; it was in his blood. As a second generation roofer, he was
introduced to the trade at just six years old, learning alongside his father. Over the years, he worked his way up from sweeping the warehouse floor to becoming an installer, and eventually a respected superintendent. Through hard work, dedication, and a commitment to doing things the right way, Larry built a reputation for quality craftsmanship and integrity.

Larry took great pride in sharing his knowledge and passion with others, mentoring the next generation and instilling the values that continue to define Advanced Roofing Inc. today.

His legacy lives on through the company he built and the standards he set. We honor Larry every day by continuing to serve our community with the same honesty, work ethic, and commitment to excellence that he believed in.

Stacy Skinner has been an integral part of Advanced Roofing Inc. since joining the company in 2007, shortly after graduating college. Over the years, she has worked in nearly every area of the business—including customer service, office management, and accounting—giving her a well-rounded understanding of the company from the ground up.

Today, as President, Stacy leads Advanced Roofing Inc. with a deep passion for the business and a strong commitment to continuing the legacy it was built on. She takes great pride in delivering quality workmanship to homeowners while building lasting relationships within the community the company has served for decades.

For Stacy, the most rewarding part of the work is helping homeowners feel confident and cared for throughout their projects, while maintaining the high standards her family established.

Outside of the business, Stacy is a dedicated mom of three, actively supporting her kids in their many sports and activities. She is also a dog lover and enjoys life with her two Portuguese Water Dogs. Whenever there’s an opportunity to travel, Stacy and her family love to take it.

Jean Savage has been a cornerstone of Advanced Roofing Inc. since its founding, working side by side with her husband, Larry, to nurture and grow the business into what it is today. From the very beginning, Jean did whatever was needed—playing an essential role in building a strong foundation and helping guide the company to the next level.

In 2000, Jean and Larry purchased the building that still serves as the home of Advanced Roofing Inc. today, a testament to their hard work, vision, and long-term commitment to the
business.

Jean takes great pride in her family as they continue to operate the company, carrying on the same passion, integrity, and work ethic that she and Larry established.

Outside of the business, Jean enjoys meeting new people and traveling to remote destinations. She treasures time with her grandchildren, who keep her busy with their many activities, and she always finds joy in her dog, Bennett—who never fails to bring a smile.

Chris Skinner brings over 20 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer, along with an MBA earned in 2010, to his role as Operations Manager at Advanced Roofing Inc. His strong
background in process improvement, efficiency, and strategic planning plays a critical role in the company’s day-to-day operations and long-term growth.

Construction has always been a part of Chris’s life. Growing up, he worked alongside his father framing homes throughout high school and college, developing a deep understanding of building practices and jobsite operations from an early age.

At Advanced Roofing Inc., Chris integrates his technical expertise in CAD and drafting into the roofing industry, enhancing project planning, accuracy, and execution. His ability to evaluate complex roofing systems and provide clear, informed solutions helps ensure each project is completed with precision and efficiency.

Chris is passionate about educating homeowners and business owners, taking the time to explain roofing systems, materials, and options so clients can make confident, informed decisions about their properties.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys golfing, reading, and spending time with his wife and three children, staying actively involved in their lives and activities.

Shawn Martinez brings over 10 years of experience in the building industry to his role as Project Manager at Advanced Roofing Inc. Prior to joining the team, he worked for one of the largest building material distributors in the United States, giving him valuable insight into products, supply chains, and industry trends.

Shawn thrives in the fast-paced, ever-evolving nature of the construction industry. He takes pride in building strong relationships with suppliers, allowing him to stay up to date on the latest materials and innovations, and ensuring each project benefits from the best products available.

With a hands-on approach to project coordination and planning, Shawn is actively involved in the field, helping ensure projects run smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards. His attention to detail and commitment to quality make him a key part of the Advanced Roofing Inc. team.

Outside of work, Shawn enjoys motorsports, tinkering with electronics, and spending quality
time with his wife and two children.

Sarah Booth brings over 8 years of customer service experience to Advanced Roofing Inc., where she plays a key role in guiding homeowners through the beginning stages of their home improvement projects. From the first call to project completion, Sarah is dedicated to creating a smooth, supportive, and positive experience for every client.

Having grown up around the roofing industry, Sarah was introduced to the business at a young age by her late father, Larry Savage. Through his guidance, she developed a strong understanding of all aspects of roofing, along with the values of hard work, honesty, and putting customers first—principles that continue to shape her approach today.

Sarah takes pride in helping clients feel informed and comfortable as they navigate the renovation process, ensuring clear communication and attention to detail every step of the way.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and tending to her
garden as an avid gardener.
